Important information about CASF 2020

Letter from CASF trustees

Dear Friends,

Andrey and Ula here. To those who do not know us, we are the trustees of CASF and have been in charge of CASF’s cause for over the last 10 years or so. We would like to announce that we have made a hard decision to put the project temporarily on hold, which means that, unfortunately, CASF will not be holding its annual festival in 2020.

Whilst over our history a number of important milestones have been achieved (not least becoming the biggest event held annually at UCL with close to 2,000 people attending), we feel that due to competing interests neither of us two currently have enough bandwidth, time or resources to properly invest in the organisation’s development and necessary maintenance to make the efforts of all of you – our loyal volunteers, partners, supporters and visitors – worth your while.

Now, this does not mean we are wrapping the festival up for good. On the contrary, we are taking this time to reflect on the future of CASF, plan and work on certain changes that will allow CASF to become bigger and better in the years to come.

We are eternally grateful for your continuous interest and support. Please continue to follow us on social media to be up to date with the developments.

Yours,

Andrey and Ula
